What are the forces that take us across the river of hardship and suffering?
How can we ground ourselves in the present moment amidst the chaos, crisis, and uncertainty?
This 6-day circuit-breaker Retreat is intended to help you reset your system, shake off the accumulated stress and grief of this past year, and ground your presence in the Now. Enter the laboratory of the Sacred and dip your toes into the invisible, indestructible, and benevolent force of Grace.
Each day will include gentle yoga and meditation and workshops to explore the power and resiliency of the human heart. Our afternoons will be filled with communal walks in Nature to bathe our system with the healing power of the ocean and forests. Our evenings will be an immersion into sacred songs, poetry, and stories that nourish the heart and give us unshakable hope in the triumph of the human spirit.

This retreat center is located on a quaint island full of lush, tall green trees. You roll up onto the campus and are greeted by friendly and welcoming faces. When you walk into the garden you are dazzled by the colours, smells, and sounds of the birds. During your stay you explore the sunny beach, rest in hot tubs overlooking the ocean, discover winding paths through the forest, enjoy fireside chats with fresh organic tea, and discover the magic of night time bioluminescence with an expansive star filled sky above. From nourishing meals, to cozy handcrafted accommodations, to rejuvenating bodywork, to complimentary activities like yoga and rowing, it’s everything you imagined and more.
160 kilometres (100 miles) north of Vancouver, British Columbia, you will find the venue resting on sunny, southeastern beaches bathed by the Salish sea. Located on Cortes in the Northern Gulf Islands, the venue is situated on the traditional and unceded territories of the Klahoose, Tla’amin, and Homalco Nations.

We cannot emphasize more the importance of travel insurance. As we all know, especially as travelers, “life happens.” Whether it’s family, work, mother nature, or a change of heart, it is important to be prepared in case you need to unexpectedly change your travel plans. Often for less than $150, you can purchase a travel insurance policy and be protected in the event that you need to make a change or need to be covered financially prior to or during your trip.
We have partnered with two insurance companies: Trawick International and CSA Travel Insurance (available for U.S. Residents only). For Non-U.S. Residents this policy with Trawick insurance is available: Safe Travels Multi-National.
We encourage you to research the insurance company and policy that best meets your needs.
