Kirk Lautensleger

Kirk was working 80 hour weeks and wearing his shoulders as earrings when he found yoga in 2005. Always the competitive athlete, he loved the physicality of yoga. When the spiritual and philosophical side of yoga were exposed to him, he was hooked. Yoga provided him what his other activities couldn’t, the ability to foster the benefits of practice both on and off of the mat. Yoga was something that he could bring into all aspects of his life.

Kirk knows that yoga can be intimidating, so he crafts a class that is playful and inviting, while still being challenging and safe. His creatively planned classes build strength and flexibility in your body and mind while establishing clarity, giving you more confidence to overcome obstacles in your life, and keeping you injury free. His classes are themed with a message that is relatable and will inspire you to take it with you off your mat. Kirk helps you to connect with your higher Self as you peel away the layers and bring out the best in yourself.

Kirk’s playful nature is his remedy for life. He leads a light-hearted class that is fun because too often in life we sweat the small things that don’t really matter and lose focus on our true path. He will be gentle with you when you’re low, honest with you when you’re lost and will celebrate with you always.

Stefan Hoffman

After stepping on his mat in ’15, Stefan noticed how the discipline and mindfulness transferred to every aspect of his life. He truly feels his practice allows people to encounter a better version of him, which they deserve. This positive ripple effect yoga had on his life left him with the desire to share this practice with others. Stefan completed his 200-hr Power Yoga TT at Power Life with Christen Bakken. He views being an instructor as a vehicle to leave his mark and make a difference through positive change. Students will be challenged to turn their thinking into action and practice discipline before expression. In his class, Stefan aims to create a challenging and motivating environment to empower students to design their lives with passion and constant intent. Expect to experience a physical class filled with difficult transitions, strong beats and the opportunity to take your practice to the next level- physically and mentally. He’s an arm balance kind of guy.

When he’s not on his mat, Stefan can be found staying active whether it’s on the tennis court, at the gym, or outdoors. He’s passionate about his involvement in the Power Life, Lululemon, and Big Brothers Big Sisters communities.

Getting There 

You will be booking your flights for the San Jose International Airport (SJO). Before booking tickets, please be sure you have received your official confirmation note that the retreat has met its minimums. There will be one group airport shuttle each way based on our flight window guidelines. Be sure your flights align with the provided flight windows if you wish to use the group shuttle.
