Tamika Caston-Miller is an RYT500 and Divine Sleep® Yoga Nidra Guide based in Houston, Texas. The creator of Ashé Yoga, she embraces the belief that each person and every body has the power to co-design the life desired by elevating yoga beyond asana (movement). Ashé is the West African concept of the transformational power to make things happen–the power to create change. Informed by ashé and the philosophy of yoga, Tamika has special interests in the contemplative yoga styles Restorative Yoga, Yin Yoga, and Yoga Nidra. She also enjoys creative Vinyasa Flow and Hot Hatha classes to stimulate vitality and well-being. Tamika curates yoga experiences with thoughtful sequencing and music, often incorporating singing bowls, and always steeped in the Yoga Sutras. Her classes may be found in studio at YogaWorks Houston, at yoga retreats in the US and abroad, as well as by request in your home or online.
“Tamika brings a wealth of knowledge and compassion to her yoga plus a lovely balance of different styles from yin to restorative to flow and more. She brings a joy and playfulness to her practice that can be felt in the music she chooses to the tone she sets with each intention for yoga experience. One minute you’ll be dancing and the next you might be shedding some emotional weight and find yourself in tears. Whatever happens, know that this wise woman is holding space for you and guiding you towards the best, most joyous version of yourself.
Going on her yoga retreat was truly life-changing. For the first time, I felt completely accepted and loved at the deep core of my being, and not just by Tamika but by everyone on the retreat, simply because she attracts people that have that kind of energy.
On this retreat you may find yourself laughing uncontrollably, loving yourself fiercely, establishing the strongest bonds of friendship you’ve ever imagined, dancing with wild women and deepening your understanding of your yoga practice.” ~Katy T., Previous Retreat Participant

We cannot emphasize more the importance of travel insurance. As we all know, especially as travelers, “life happens.” Whether it’s family, work, mother nature, or a change of heart, it is important to be prepared in case you need to unexpectedly change your travel plans. Often for less than $150, you can purchase a travel insurance policy and be protected in the event that you need to make a change or need to be covered financially prior to or during your trip.
We have partnered with two insurance companies: Trawick International and CSA Travel Insurance (available for U.S. Residents only). For Non-U.S. Residents this policy with Trawick insurance is available: Safe Travels Multi-National.
We encourage you to research the insurance company and policy that best meets your needs.
