This Italian Center sits just above the sea. A stroll through the small village below puts you right into the marina, strewn with colorful fishing boats and cafes. At the center, you can stroll among the typical Sorrento lemon garden or curl up on a cozy couch in one of the many corridors for a contemplative rest. From most everywhere in the convent, one can enjoy a view of the Naples Gulf, Mount Vesuvio, Capri, Ischia, and Procida.
Sarah has always been involved in physical activity, but not until a severe rugby injury did she turn to yoga over 10 years ago. The subtle yet profound shifts inspired by attending yoga classes with teachers that she began to connect with eventually led her to continue on the path to teach yoga. Sarah’s classes reflect the passion she has for life and for yoga; she does this through playful challenges, fun energy, and succulent stretches. Sarah likes to focus on bringing awareness to alignment and finding an understanding of doi
ng what you need to do for your body in the moment. Within Sarah’s classes expect to work hard, find energy, and laugh! Sarah is based out of Toronto, Canada, runs/owns Liberty Life Yoga, and teaches in various studios throughout the Greater Toronto Area. Sarah is so excited to be working with True Nature for a retreat in beautiful Italy!
Sarah has obtained her 200-hour Hatha Teacher Training from Kula Yoga, 30-hour YHot certification from YYoga Teacher’s College – and holds various certifications in Restorative Yoga. Sarah continues to evolve through growing her knowledge completing her personal training specialist certification, courses in Myofacial Release – and working towards Pre/Post Natal certifications.

Christine prides herself on sharing yoga practices for real life with her students. She believes that yoga has something to offer every body. Understanding that people come to yoga for different reasons, Christine wants to be there to support each person on their unique journey. With a background in massage therapy and an in-depth knowledge of anatomy, she focuses on guiding students to get the most out of every pose through clear language and an emphasis on alignment. Through the use of creative sequencing and theming, students are offered an opportunity to calm, connect to, and revitalize the body, mind and breath.
Christine came to her practice as many do – out of necessity. She was working a stressful job in New York City and found peace in a gentle hatha class. After moving to Vancouver, she began to get deeper into her practice and, arriving at a crossroads in her career, made the leap into teacher training. While there were difficult moments, struggling to master poses amongst long-time practitioners, Christine persisted and discovered that her dharma was to share the gift of yoga with others.
“I know I can’t change or eliminate the sadness and sorrows of the world,” she says, “but I do believe that yoga is my vehicle to help others facilitate even the smallest of changes to help make the world a better place.”
Christine has obtained her 200-hour Hatha/Vinyasa and 70-hour YHot certifications from YYoga Teacher’s College in Vancouver, BC. She continues to expand her knowledge of yoga and currently holds certificates and for Yin, Restorative, and Spin.

There are so many beautiful and wonderful adventures you can take advantage of during your stay. Venture along the rocks protecting the port and dive into the ocean for a refreshing swim. Walking on ancient paths you can reach Sorrento town center, Massa Lubrense, and some of its hamlets. You can also reach some areas that cannot be visited from the sea, as they are part of the marine reserve: Leranto Bay and the Punta Campanella, dominated by beautiful views of Capri, are two such spots. Excursions to Positano, Ravello, Amalfi, Capri, and many other famous Amalfi Coast locales can be easily organized.

You will be booking your flight to the Naples International Airport (NAP). Before booking tickets, please be sure you have received your official confirmation note that the retreat has met its minimums. There will be one group airport shuttle each way based on our flight window guidelines. Be sure your flights align with the provided flight windows if you wish to use the group shuttle.
