About the Rooms:
Single Occupancy – We have one single occupancy room remaining. The room is entirely private and connects to a jack-and-jill style bathroom that is shared with an adjoining double-occupancy room.
Shared Occupancy – As with all True Nature retreats, the shared occupancy rooms can be both double and triple occupancy and have en-suite bathrooms. We have filled all of the double occupancy rooms, so all shared occupancy enrollments will now be in triple-occupancy rooms.
Women’s Group Room – The group room is a spacious room with five bunk beds and two en-suite bathrooms. The group room rate kicks in once four women have enrolled. With three women or fewer, it will be treated as a shared occupancy room. If you choose the women’s group room and we do not reach four participants for this option, you will be contacted about alternate options. This room is gender specific and we will cap the women’s group room at 4 participants. Each woman gets a full bunk bed to themselves.

“The retreat was a perfect container for a relaxed inner experience, a special opportunity to practice deeper awareness of each “now” moment with a group of like-minded people. We
meditated together, did yoga and shared our journey for a week. It was an unforgettable experience. It is now easier for me to simply let my thoughts and feelings out and I am grateful for that freedom.”
— Jim Burneo, Power of Presence Retreat,
Costa Rica 2012
“I loved it! It was well organized and had a nice balance between all the activities: sightseeing, yoga, meditation, spiritual exploration and time for socializing. The spiritual work was truly transformative thanks to Christopher and Susan’s expert and loving guidance. It was a joy to get to know this group of people, dedicated to a spiritual journey like mine. I will be forever grateful to Susan and Christopher for this wonderful experience.”
— Sylvia Hughes, “Mystics Journey,”
Lake Atitlan, Guatemala 2014
“I have attended 4 Power of Presence retreats, each one better than the last beginning with Costa Rica then followed by Maya Tulum in Mexico, Antigua, and Guatemala, and most recently Peru. I have done quite a bit of traveling with other groups and my experience with Susan and Christopher Brown is by far the best I have ever had. Susan and Cristopher have a rare talent of being able to make everyone feel welcome and included while still leaving lots of room for independence if desired, for personal interests. This is essential for me as often times I like to get out and explore on my own but I always feel I can return to the safety and warmth of the group with out judgement or resentment. I never feel a pressure to participate in anything I don’t want to do which is not always the case with many travel groups. Additionally every trip I have been on I have experienced a transformation in how I see myself and relate to others. Susan and Christopher offer many opportunities for self discovery, reflection and personal growth. These opportunities are never forced but are offered gently, in a non threatening way with kindness, compassion and love. It is clear that Susan and Christopher have a genuine passion and commitment for assisting others in attaining a sustainable level of peace and self acceptance; practicing the art of “loving thy self.” The retreat centers that Susan and Christopher have chosen have been consistently remarkable in breathtaking beauty, comfort and hospitality. Each trip I have been on has been an ideal combination of fun, laughter, personal growth, nature walks, yoga, meditation, good food, learning, site seeing, exploration and one of my favorite things, SHOPPING! I highly recommend booking a Power of Presence retreat for your next travel and spiritual renewal experience! I just booked my fifth one for the 2018 trip to Italy and can’t wait!” ~Monica
