Rejuvenate and connect with your authentic self during this one-week retreat so that you can find exciting new places to grow. Through twice-daily focused yoga classes, meditation, and workshops that will help you explore your true nature, you will walk away from the retreat feeling inspired to live authentically.
Aligning with nature, each day begins with a group meditation walk followed by a flowing series of asanas (vinyasa) linked by the breath, designed to build strength and stamina in the body and tranquility in the mind. This class will be a sweet mindful flow that is suitable for all levels and will prepare you for the day ahead.
Karma yoga will include a cultural opportunity to serve the local community that will foster the qualities of compassion and selflessness deep within, taking the yoga practice truly off the mat.
The retreat will include workshops on discovering your personal Ayurvedic nature and finding purpose so you can lead authentically. The retreat center’s name translates as “love from the ancient forest.” It is nestled in an oasis of native plants and fruit trees, nourished by a magnificent waterfall in the Sacred Valley of Peru. This lovely spot is in the Andes Mountains and home of the twelve mountains known as Apus—“luminous beings.” Those who come to the center have the opportunity to commune directly with these mountains, as well as with the local curanderos and pacos (healers), who engage with us for ritual and Despacho ceremony.
The guests at this center enjoy delicious meals with locally-grown and lovingly-prepared ingredients. Each guest room is a reflection of the Peruvian culture of the Sacred Valley. The entire center embodies kindness, love, and wholeness that seem to permeate the magical place.

Specialties: Power Yoga, Real Colors Trainer (personality temperament/profile), Stress Management Trainer, Trained Facilitator
Power Yoga: Great for all levels interested in growing their practice in a dynamic class that focuses on a flow of breath, strength and balanced movement that emphasizes gentleness.
My yoga practice began in 2002 while I was training for triathlons and knew I needed to find balance in my workouts. I loved what I found in Power Yoga so much so that I completed my Teacher Training Level One with Baron Baptiste in 2007 and began teaching yoga shortly thereafter. A few years later I completed my Level Two Teacher Training with Sean and Karen Conley of Amazing Yoga. I regularly attended continuing education workshops including two with Bryan Kest who is recognized as the creator of Power Yoga. In 2016, I completed my Level Three Teacher Training with Amazing Yoga. Over the years I have learned that power comes from the mind and we must do the work to become our most authentic selves. I have a MEd in Wellness Management and a PhD in Human and Community Development. Through my various jobs, yoga training and life experiences, I have learned how to facilitate leadership development. I truly believe this is how yoga teaching works; helping people find their purpose so they can lead life authentically.
I enjoy mountain and road biking, hiking, cross-country and downhill skiing. I simply enjoy the outdoors where I get a sense of freedom and serenity.
“Kelly’s power yoga is my favorite class in town. It makes me feel grounded and present while getting a serious workout.”-Jessica McDonald
“Kelly is a great instructor. I’m not typically a hot yoga person, but Kelly made me feel comfortable, and I never felt pressure to do something that I couldn’t do.”-Erin Ellis
