Samantha Stangarone
Samantha grew up in Brooklyn, New York. She has a profound love of cats and Mexican Food. She has hopes of traveling to New Zealand to see the filming sights for Lord of the Rings. After discovering Yoga as a movement form to help with injury recovery, she focuses on inclusivity and functional range of movement therapy in her teachings.
Regardless of experience, shape, age, level of fitness, perceived flexibility, or lack thereof, she will make the practice yours. Studying with her, you can expect an open-flow practice with modifications for varying experience levels. She approaches her classes holistically, and includes opportunities for physical practice, breath work, and meditation, all with a sense of humor and jubilance.
Her decision to become an instructor, and ultimately open her own studio, was one she didn’t approach lightly. After receiving her 200 and 300-hour certifications studying under Claudia Debs with the Scared Vessel at Brooklyn Vindhya Yoga and doing more than 100 hours in fellowship programs with Jivamukti, she was planning on going back to school to receive a Doctorate degree in Archaeology but felt pulled to serve and help heal her local community with the ancient practice of Yoga.
However, she understands that Yoga isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, so when choosing to open her own studio, she knew she wanted to have a movement form for everyone to enjoy. So, she received additional certifications in Zumba, Pilates, YOD, and Kettlebell AMPD, she reached out to the best instructors she knew, and Pure Life Movement Studio was born!

Travel Insurance
We cannot emphasize more the importance of travel insurance. As we all know, especially as travelers, “life happens.” Whether it’s family, work, mother nature, or a change of heart, it is important to be prepared in case you need to unexpectedly change your travel plans. Often for less than $150, you can purchase a travel insurance policy and be protected in the event that you need to make a change or need to be covered financially prior to or during your trip.
We have partnered with Trawick International (available for U.S. Residents only). Read more about their policies here. We encourage you to research the insurance company and policy that best meets your needs.
