Dominica (Dom-min-EEKA) is often confused with the Dominican Republic.
Dominica is an island in the Caribbean and a part of the Lesser Antilles.
You’ve built the life.
The job, the house, the degrees (maybe kids)—you’ve done the things.
You’re healthy (enough), successful (enough), and grateful… mostly.
So why does something still feel off?
Do you catch yourself asking questions like:
“Is this it?”
“What am I doing now?”
“Why am I not more fulfilled?”
Welcome to the beautiful, messy terrain of life. This is not a breakdown. This is a threshold—an invitation to explore what’s next with courage, clarity, and compassion.
And that’s exactly what The Next Chapter Retreat is here to hold space for.
WHO IS THIS RETREAT FOR?
It is for real humans of any experience.
All levels are welcome! Jordan and I thoughtfully adapt each sequence to meet you where you are, because it’s not about how we practice so much as that we practice. That adaptability is actually one of the retreat’s greatest strengths—it allows us to create a more powerful, inclusive, and supportive space for a truly diverse community.
HOW WE’LL PRACTICE: MOVEMENT, MEANING & CHANGE
We’ll share the full agenda on day one, but nothing is rigid. We’re here to read the room—to adapt, adjust, and co-create an experience that feels nourishing for everyone. This retreat is meant to evolve with you. Think of the schedule like a buffet: you get to pick and choose what speaks to you. Want to practice yoga once a day? Great. Twice? Even better. Need a nap instead of a workshop? Totally allowed. The flow is yours to follow.
Each day, you’ll have the option to dive into both vigorous and restorative yoga practices—an open invitation to move, stretch, and reconnect with the felt sense of your body. We’ll journey inward through meditation, mantra, and yoga nidra, softening into the deeper layers of the heart where those hidden gems of insight tend to shimmer. There will be spaciousness for solo reflection and journaling, and time to come together in community for dharma talks—sharing, digesting, and integrating what’s bubbling up. This retreat isn’t about checking boxes—it’s a soulful return to your beginnings, a space to explore your lived experience, and a chance to sketch out where you might want to go next.

Jordan Lashley
At the age of 25, Jordan took his first yoga class—and his life changed forever. In his book There Is No Me, he shares his journey as a yoga practitioner, teacher, and seeker of life’s deeper meaning.
With over 20 years of experience, Jordan is a seasoned instructor trained in Baptiste, Jivamukti, Yin, and yoga philosophy. He completed his 200-hour RYT in 2009 and holds a 300-hour certification from Embodied Philosophy, along with 500+ additional training hours. All of this knowledge and training is evident in his 8-Limb Power Yoga™ method—a dynamic and integrative approach to yoga that focuses on postures and blends purposeful movement with breathwork, mantra, meditation, and grounded yogic philosophy.
Jordan is known for mentoring new teachers and creating classes that challenge body, mind, and spirit. His dynamic, music-driven flows reflect his DJ background and are infused with just-right doses of philosophy, meditation, and breathwork.
He believes yoga is about balance—physical, emotional, and mental—and aims to build community through shared practice and inquiry.
Outside the studio, Jordan makes pancakes for his daughter Penelopi every Saturday, rides his motorcycle when the weather allows, and crafts unique stained glass art.
Monique Allen
Monique Allen is the creator of Yoga-Activated™, a practice that blends movement, breath, and self-inquiry to support transformation. With roots in anatomy, the 8-limbs of yoga, and the natural rhythms of change, Monique guides students to explore transitions on the mat as a mirror for life.
Her teaching is grounded in decades of experience as a regenerative landscape designer and business mentor. She brings a rare combination of clarity, compassion, and curiosity to her classes — inviting students to inhabit liminal space, build strength and awareness, and take inspired action off the mat.
Monique is also the founder of The Garden Continuum and The Lifescape Coach, where she supports others in creating purposeful, resilient lives and businesses. Through Yoga-Activated, she holds space for reconnection, growth, and possibility — not through perfection, but presence.

We cannot emphasize more the importance of travel insurance. As we all know, especially as travelers, “life happens.” Whether it’s family, work, mother nature, or a change of heart, it is important to be prepared in case you need to unexpectedly change your travel plans. Often for less than $150, you can purchase a travel insurance policy and be protected in the event that you need to make a change or need to be covered financially prior to or during your trip.
We have partnered with Trawick International (available for U.S. Residents only). Read more about their policies here. We encourage you to research the insurance company and policy that best meets your needs.
