Stephen Kirsch (He/Him)

Stephen fell in love with yoga many years ago when he was looking for a way to balance an active athletic lifestyle and work on his feet with a complementary practice. He quickly pursued training and began teaching at some of the biggest yoga studios in Boston. Stephen is passionate about guiding his students through a practice that encourages them to listen and be present and challenges them physically while offering them ease and release. His classes are thoughtfully sequenced for all levels of practitioners and offer clear alignment and postural cueing.

Stephen teaches Vinyasa, Yin Yoga, and Barre classes and currently resides in Portland, Maine with his rascally Rottweiler Ruby. Stephen is an RYT-200 hour graduate of the Boston Yoga School and has been teaching yoga classes for over 8 years. He has led international yoga retreats to Tuscany, Morocco, Spain, and numerous other incredible locations. When he’s not in the studio, Stephen can be found reading, traveling, out for a run around town, or working on his margarita recipe.

Explore the rich historical heritage of Conteville by visiting the 12th-century church of Saint-Quentin, which boasts a blend of Romanesque and Gothic architectural styles. Make sure to stop at La Maison du Parc Naturel Régional des Boucles de la Seine Normande, a beautiful mansion that now serves as an information center about the local natural park, offering insight into the region’s biodiversity and heritage. For the wine aficionados, a trip to the local vineyards is a must—learn about the intricate process of winemaking and treat your palate to the exquisite flavors of Normandy’s finest wines. And finally, don’t miss out on the weekly local markets, where you can mingle with the locals and sample a variety of local produce, cheeses, and other artisanal creations. Whether you’re a history buff, nature lover, or gastronome, there’s something for everyone in Conteville.

Travel Insurance

We cannot emphasize more the importance of travel insurance. As we all know, especially as travelers, “life happens.” Whether it’s family, work, mother nature, or a change of heart, it is important to be prepared in case you need to unexpectedly change your travel plans. Often for less than $150, you can purchase a travel insurance policy and be protected in the event that you need to make a change or need to be covered financially prior to or during your trip.

We have partnered with two insurance companies: Trawick International and CSA Travel Insurance (available for U.S. Residents only).

Read more about our insurance partners and their policies here. We encourage you to research the insurance company and policy that best meets your needs.
