Rise and Restore Retreat in Ireland
with Devon & Elizabeth
Join Devon, ERYT-500, C-IAYT, founder of Day Yoga Studios, and Elizabeth Hulsman, ERYT-500, Master Clinical Aromatherapist and founder of Aromatherapy Sanctuary, for a rejuvenating and inspiring week-long yoga retreat in the stunning and peaceful surroundings of Delphi, Ireland. This retreat is designed to nourish your body, mind, and spirit through daily yoga, meditation, and connection with nature.
Each day will include up to two yoga or meditation sessions. Morning practices will typically feature energizing, all-level vinyasa or hatha classes to help you wake up, feel grounded, and set the tone for your day. In the evenings, you’ll wind down with gentle restorative yoga or a group sangha circle, offering a time to reflect, share, and relax. Breathing exercises (pranayama) and guided meditation will be thoughtfully integrated into both the morning and evening sessions, supporting a deep sense of inner calm and clarity.
Outside of practice, you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy the beauty and adventure that Delphi has to offer. Whether you’re in the mood to relax or explore, there’s something for everyone. Enjoy delicious, locally sourced meals, hike scenic trails, indulge in spa treatments, or take part in optional activities like ziplining, kayaking, or simply soaking in the peaceful ambiance.

Devon Schmidt
It was in 2003 while enrolled at the Columbus College of Art and Design, that Devon Schmidt first discovered her love for yoga. Through Hatha yoga classes at the YMCA in downtown Columbus, she came to enjoy the physical and mental benefits of the asanas and noticed how wonderful she felt after class. It was while learning about yoga’s spiritual side that Devon was inspired to become a yoga teacher.
In 2010 Devon completed the World Peace Yoga 200hr Teacher Training Program in Springboro Ohio. In 2016 Devon also completed the 300hr Advanced Teacher Training Program at Yoga On High and is registered with Yoga Alliance as an ERYT-500. She has completed the Shanti Mom Prenatal Yoga and Color Me Kids Trainings, as well as Yoga Therapy and Yoga Nidra Level I. She completed Ayurvedic and Thai Yoga Massage Trainings with Kelly Lewis and Annette Dennis respectively. More recently, she has also completed an Ayurvedic Health Counselor program through Shakti School with Katie Silcox Yoga and her integrative yoga therapy training through Kripalu. Currently, she’s pursuing her masters in mental health counseling to become a licensed professional counselor (LPC).
In 2011 Devon opened Day Yoga Studio in Dayton, Ohio to provide yoga and wellness services to the community. Along with teaching open yoga classes, she also facilitates workshops, conducts private individual yoga sessions, directs the 200-hour, 300hr & 500-hour RYS teacher training programs at Day Yoga, and offers Ayurvedic Massage, Ayurvedic counseling and yoga therapy sessions. A second location in Beavercreek was opened in 2018 and Washington Twp. in 2024.
Devon teaches many various yoga styles and loves to incorporate the more spiritual aspects of yoga into her classes, encouraging her students to delve into self-inquiry and staying present through pranayama. She is also the director of the non-profit 501(c)(3) Day Yoga Community Outreach program which brings yoga to those in need in and around the Dayton area including schools and women’s shelters. All the while Devon still finds time for her most important job: being a mom to four kids and four dogs.
Elizabeth Hulsman

Travel Insurance
We cannot emphasize more the importance of travel insurance. As we all know, especially as travelers, “life happens.” Whether it’s family, work, mother nature, or a change of heart, it is important to be prepared in case you need to unexpectedly change your travel plans. Often for less than $150, you can purchase a travel insurance policy and be protected in the event that you need to make a change or need to be covered financially prior to or during your trip.
We have partnered with Trawick International (available for U.S. Residents only). Read more about their policies here. We encourage you to research the insurance company and policy that best meets your needs.
