Under the Tuscan Sun: Self-Care Retreat
Tuscany, Italy Retreat with Barb Morsa and Cheryl Robinson

Experience “La Dolce Vita” with Barb and Cheryl in Tuscany. Escape to a full week of the good life in this Yoga & Meditation Self-Care Retreat. Unplug, unwind and open to a deeper awareness of the joy and beauty of your life.

Together, we will embrace all that the stunning Italian countryside has to offer – hiking, biking, horseback riding, vineyards, and local, organic meals from the adjacent farm, served under the beautiful Tuscan skies and landscapes. Our home for the week is a beautifully restored Tuscan farmhouse and grounds, which includes panoramic views, bacci and sand volleyball, pool, trails, and a wonderful patio with wood fired oven.

This inspired week of self-care and R&R will be filled with twice daily yoga and meditation practices in the villa’s gorgeous yoga hall. Most days practice will be offered in the morning and evening to strike a perfect balance of energy. On the 2 days of group excursions, we will offer morning practice to start our day in the best possible way. You will have the chance to grow your practice and understanding of yoga as a lifelong tool for well-being, healing and spiritual growth in practices designed to awaken you to the fullness and richness of life. Experience heart-centered dynamic and restorative asana practices, pranayama, meditation, and yoga nidra each day in the inspiring and life-affirming setting of Tuscany.

Although there will be plenty of time for solitude if you seek it, we will spend time together as a community of yogis sharing laughter, conversation and of course, amazing Italian food and wine. Hike the trails around our villa, explore the vineyards, swim, bike or simply lounge with friends or a good book. Indulge yourself with optional spa treatments provided on site. We will share in 3 spectacular meals each day, prepared with fresh, local ingredients from the neighboring farm. You can even indulge in a cooking class if you like!

  • 6 nights accommodations
  • 3 meals per day starting with dinner on the first night and ending with breakfast on the last day
  • Group Ground Transportation to/from Florence International Airport Airport to Retreat Center
  • Daily yoga practices
  • Personal retreat time (having time to nap, explore, walk, read, and just be)

Cheryl Robinson

Cheryl is a wife, mother, full-time marketer, and yoga teacher in Dayton, Ohio. She took her first yoga class in a conference room down the hall from her corporate America cubicle over 20 years ago. She quickly experienced first-hand how yoga helped calm her “monkey mind” and balance the demands of being a full-time working mom. She experienced reduced stress, increased mental clarity, and started sleeping better. Several years later, yoga once again became her lifeline and helped ease the stress, anxiety and depression that accompanied her mother’s devastating Alzheimer’s diagnosis. A regular yoga practice paved the long road of caring for her mother, and subsequently her father. Cheryl attributes yoga to helping her build fortitude and maintain a positive mental attitude throughout this heartbreaking journey. After losing both her parents, she saw an opportunity to help others facing similar challenges and during the pandemic earned both her 200-hour RYT and Judith Hanson Lasater’s Relax and Renew® Restorative Yoga Teacher certifications. Cheryl has a soft spot for caregivers and those suffering from anxiety and depression and serves them through weekly Gentle Beginner and Restorative Yoga classes. Her nurturing teaching style welcomes anyone looking to start or refine their practice. Cheryl believes the whole world needs yoga right now and is on a mission to help as many people as possible discover its healing powers.
