An Exploration of the Four Divine Abodes: A Kundalini Experience
Trelawny, Jamaica Retreat with Aubrey Zinaich
Join Aubrey Zinaich in the summer of 2023 in Jamaica for a journey of discovery. On this retreat, we will explore the Brahmavihara in greater depth. The Four Divine Abodes: Loving Kindness, Compassion, Joy, and Equanimity. During each of our physical practices, we will contemplate what it means to develop our spiritual practice and dive deeper into both our hearts and our spirits. We will explore various teachings from multiple traditions including The Bhagavad Gita, The Upanishads, Japji Sahib & the teachings of Thich Nhat Hahn to enhance our own personal practices. Yoga as a complete spiritual practice encompasses more than just asana. Yoga gives us a framework for self-realization, a guide to becoming more authentically us.
Each day will have plenty of free time to spend relaxing, adventuring, or simply being in the presence of the mountains and the beach. Morning and evening practices will be offered each day and will include breath work, chanting & mantra, asana, concentration, and meditation. Awakening our individual Kundalini energy, the energy of our creativity and vitality.
Join Aubrey: awaken to yourself
What is Kundalini Yoga? Kundalini yoga is called the yoga of awareness. The Kundalini energy is vitality, creativity, and consciousness. As we practice, this energy becomes awakened within us. Kundalini Yoga combines posture, breath, hand position, sound, and eye focus to produce a powerful experience and a shift in mind, body, and spirit.

Testimonials
“I am so grateful to have found Aubrey’s kundalini yoga classes! Aubrey is an amazing yoga teacher and her authentic voice and down-to-earth nature allow her to convey the complexity and depth of kundalini in an incredibly accessible way. She is extremely knowledgeable and it’s clear that she is deeply passionate about all aspects of yoga and yogic philosophy – I always walk away with a new nugget of information each class. I also really appreciate the sense of community Aubrey creates in her classes, she truly gets to know her students and creates a variety of opportunities for the group to become closer. Since starting kundalini classes with Aubrey, I have noticed a big improvement in my health and well-being and I try to attend them as often as I can!” — Kristina
“I found Aubrey’s classes in late 2019 when seeking a spiritual practice for balance and equanimity. What a difference and positive impact Aubrey’s Sunday Sadhana (and occasional weekday classes) have made for me in facing the challenges of life. Elements of her classes resound and become part of a daily practice for me, which she graciously has helped me develop. Her wisdom and insights are wrapped in a light spirit, good humor, and love. “Open Heartedness” was a theme for a time, and it radiates from Aubrey always.” — Deborah
“Three years ago, I signed up to take my first Kundalini class. I thought it would be a challenging, one-time experience. At the time, a class featuring a gong, chanting, and meditation was intimidating to me. Fast forward to now, I’m attending class three times a week, and would do more if my schedule permitted. Thanks to Aubrey, I’m enjoying the practice more than I ever thought I would. Aubrey is an inspiring and thoughtful teacher who makes every class enjoyable and rewarding. During each session, she guides the participants with a thoughtful quote and practice. Thanks to Aubrey and Kundalini yoga I am continuously learning about myself and the world around me.” — Monika
