Renewal: Prepare for New Growth
A Women’s Retreat

We come in celebration of spring! A season of renewal, growth, and awakening.

Spring is a time to rebuild energy, reconnect with our community, nurture our seeds of intention to grow,  and return to the light. We begin to nourish our bodies and minds to support this growth.

Join Jennifer Brewer for playful flows, balance challenges, heart openers, and creative salutations to the sun.  Learn lymphatic self-massage to release stagnation, balancing breath, and a “spring cleaning” of habits and thoughts that no longer serve us.

Connect through study and discussion on the chakras, or our energetic body. We will “grow” our intentions, goals, and plans through this energetic body in a tangible way. Learn how to listen to your body as well as how to communicate back through your nervous system, and emerge into the season more whole.

Let the nurturing begin by being taken care of by the friendliest staff around, most on-site for 20+years. Nestled on a 2000-acre historic property in the beautiful Jamaican countryside, you will be surrounded by lush hills and valleys, a pristine river, and the sun shining on the majestic landscape.

Stay on the property to hike, ride horses, or express creativity with a local professional potter. Venture off to a private beach. Plenty of free time to rediscover yourself through play or peacefulness while in this Jamaican sanctuary.

Each day will consist of 2 movement practices. Expect sunrise salutations to welcome the return of light and evening workshops to open our hearts and retrain our balance.

While it can seem challenging to work with an intangible “energy wheel”, our body gives us very tangible signals and messages. When we learn how to listen and communicate back we can better “grow” through harnessing and protecting our energy.  A study guide on the chakras will be provided.

Jennifer Brewer

Jennifer is an E-RYT 500 based out of Hilton Head, SC. She received her 200-hr from Asheville Community Yoga and 500-hr from Subtle Yoga with a focus on yoga therapeutics. Jennifer teaches full-time to both group classes and private clients. She leads the yoga program for all Spinnaker Resorts on HHI. Her class offerings vary from accessible chair yoga to powerful vinyasa – and everything in between. While she loves the creativity of movement, she strongly believes that asana is only one part of the system of yoga – and it takes the whole system to find connection, build awareness, and master this human existence.

Known for her sense of humor and ability to make yoga attainable & practical. She often brings inspiration from seasonal energy. Jennifer started her yoga journey to cope with her own depression and anger. This will be her ninth retreat with True Nature Travels.

When not doing yoga, you will find her nose in a book, trying a new recipe, or her feet in the sand with her handsome flat-coat retriever, Roux.
