Testimonials

As someone who doesn’t typically delve into the world of yoga on a regular basis, my experience with Studio Bamboo and Ann Stevens international yoga retreats have been nothing short of transformative. Ann’s flexibility in tailoring the yoga sessions to accommodate individuals of all levels and abilities has been a true revelation for me.

I have had the pleasure of participating in a couple of these retreats, and each time I have been astounded by the inclusivity and warmth of the environment created by Ann and her team. As someone who isn’t a seasoned yogi, it can be intimidating to step into a class filled with experienced practitioners. However, Ann’s approach immediately put me at ease, allowing me to fully embrace the practice without any self-consciousness.

But, it’s not just about the yoga – although that aspect is undoubtedly fantastic. What truly sets Studio Bamboo’s retreats apart is the opportunity to explore new places and cultures while surrounded by like-minded individuals. From practicing sun salutations against the backdrop of breathtaking landscapes to bonding with fellow participants over shared experiences, each retreat has left me with cherished memories and newfound friendships.

In essence, Ann and Studio Bamboo’s international yoga retreats offer so much more than just a chance to deepen your yoga practice. They provide a holistic experience that nourishes the mind, body, and soulmaking them an invaluable opportunity for anyone, regardless of their level of experience. I cannot recommend them highly enough.  – EL O’Brien

I have attended two of Studio Bamboo’s yoga retreats so far, and they are life-altering events. I am now committed to participate in at least one yoga retreat a year that is out of the country. The memories and friendships I made on those trips were priceless!

Why go with Studio Bamboo? Because they have their act together (e.g. – they’re very  organized), they understand the value of both time and money, they pick outstanding destinations, and they provide a first-rate yoga experience. Both retreats I have been on started the day with a vigorous sixty-minute yoga session led by Ann Richardson Stevens.  They really get the blood flowing in advance of our excursions. I didn’t miss a single morning session on either retreat. In the late afternoon, Ann teaches a Yin class. It was a  perfect way to unwind and relax after an action-packed day. After the afternoon class we’d have a communal dinner with the other yoga retreat participants and regale in stories of our  adventures.

I could go on and on about how wonderful these retreats are. If you’re ever afforded the opportunity to go on one, don’t hesitate!B. Johnston

Some of my best and fondest memories (to date), are yoga retreats with Ann and Studio Bamboo.

From down dog on a pier, watching fish swim by in Belize, to extraordinary villages that time forgot in Umbria. I never thought I’d get up early on vacation but could not resist the sunrise meditations in Tulum.

Ann goes above and beyond to ensure a treasured experience .

She adjusts the yoga to the tone of the day,  intuitively knowing  our body mind connection needs. It’s filled with positive vibes with like-minded adventurers.

There is so much offered. You can choose to do it all or step away for some solitude.
