Exploring the Essence of Yoga
Algarve Coast, Portugal Retreat with Amanda Harding

Join Amanda for an inspiring and fun journey immersed in the beauty of the Algarve. Aligning with nature’s rhythm, each morning begins with a vibrant, challenging Vinyasa Yoga class with music and meditation in preparation for the day ahead. Cultural excursions are planned to soothe our urbanized senses, reconnecting us back to the power of the elements with renewed reverence. In the evenings, we will optionally gather either for discussion, dance or gentler practices of restorative/yin. Expect a healthy balance of time in community and time to wander off and explore or rest!

Amanda Harding

Amanda is the owner of Prema Yoga Brooklyn, where she teaches weekly Vinyasa flow classes as well as private/corporate clients across NYC & Los Angeles. She is the creator of a program ‘Yoga on Set’ which provides weekly yoga/meditation sessions to the cast and crews of NY based film and television shoots. Currently one of Lululemon’s Brooklyn Ambassadors, she has been featured in Vogue, Origin and Mantra Magazine and holds yearly sold out retreats to such locales as the barn upstate (her own retreat center in Chatham, NY), Tulum, Costa Rica, Jamaica, Morocco, Peru, Australia and more.

Amanda teaches an Ashtanga-influenced vigorous yet mindful and creative class incorporating the fluidity of movement and music/chanting with heavy emphasis on alignment, breath, patience and fun. She has witnessed in her own life how creating spaciousness in her body, mind and heart and truly ‘walking the walk’ with humility has immensely impacted her relationship with herself and others.  Her wish is to impart to her students the many gifts she has received through her ongoing practice and studies—a greater sense of authenticity, inner peace, strength, compassion and, most of all, service to others. Her initiative, The Hummingbirds, is a group dedicated to serving vulnerable local populations in and around Brooklyn. She is also co-writing Recipes for a Divine Life—a heart book of yoga, food, prayers and photography. She lives in Brooklyn and Upstate NY with her husband, two amazing daughters and menagerie of rescue pets.

Lagos is known for its wide and endless beaches, Mediterranean climate, safety, and fresh seafood cuisine.

We cannot emphasize more the importance of travel insurance. As we all know, especially as travelers, “life happens.” Whether it’s family, work, mother nature, or a change of heart, it is important to be prepared in case you need to unexpectedly change your travel plans. Often for less than $150, you can purchase a travel insurance policy and be protected in the event that you need to make a change or need to be covered financially prior to or during your trip.

We have partnered with two insurance companies: Trawick International and CSA Travel Insurance (available for U.S. Residents only).
