Nourish your soul.

Soothe and stimulate your senses.

Join seasoned teachers, Margi Clifford and Hannah Kincaid, on a rejuvenating retreat to a seaside paradise! Yoga and meditation teacher, Margi Clifford, from Anchorage, Alaska is offering an all-inclusive 7-day retreat to Playa Uvita. Special guest teacher, Hannah Kincaid from Mother Earth Living magazine, is joining with hands-on workshops for making herbal body care products for self-care and ritual, as well as lessons in pressed flower art to help bring impressions of the tropics home with you.

Instruction in movement, meditation, and mindfulness practices that cultivate joy and tolerance will be offered daily, along with several botanical arts and herbal body care workshops, decadent meals and all the free time you can handle! Slow down and dive deep, spend time with the sea, get your toes in the sand and watch the sun lift all the way up into the sky. It will be a true delight, especially for those from Northern climates, as we sojourn toward the sun on the climb out of winter darkness.

The ritual of retreat, and immersion into intentional and indulgent practice allows our soul to feel soothed. It restores our sense of wonder and gratitude for our place in the world! Phase-of-life transitions are especially well-supported by ritual; whether your kids just left, or you retired/quit/lost a job (or a relationship), we invite you to bring your greatest intentions to share in the process of reestablishing focus in January 2019!

“I have been on many travel yoga retreats with Margi Clifford and cannot recommend attending more highly. Having the extended time available to dedicate to a deeper practice with an accomplished teacher, like Margi, is such a gift. Margi’s extensive knowledge as a yoga teacher and as a licensed professional counselor combine in such a way that makes me feel like I get just what I need. Whether it be a vigorous practice, a restorative session or something in between, there are always multiple options for the day and accommodations to any pose. Margi assures time and space for additional fun activities, both physical and artistic – which I have thoroughly enjoyed on previous trips. Margi infuses the entire retreat with her kind and friendly spirit and has always made me feel like an honored guest. ” ~Shannon

“I attended my first yoga retreat with Margi Clifford at Knik River Lodge in the Fall of 2017. The location was beautiful and peaceful. Margi made sure we were all accommodated. The whole weekend was so relaxing and the schedule was clear. Margi’s presence help put us all at ease. She is an outstanding yoga teacher.” ~Rachel

“What could be better than yoga in the beautiful and inspiring setting of Sayulita, Mexico? Clearly not much. Margi planned a fabulous week for me and my fellow yogis, allowing time for a variety of yoga experiences and practices while also leaving room for personal time to explore the area. The retreat was well planned, led, and delivered… and I can’t wait to book another one. “

“I have attended three of Margi’s week-long yoga retreats in Mexico. Margi is a truly talented and committed yoga teacher who can teach mixed level groups with grace and ease. Influenced by the Iyengar method and insight meditation, the student further develops a tranquil mind. “
