Treat yourself to a week-long Summer Sattva yoga retreat in Greece! In Sanksrit “sattva” means balance, purity, and wholesomeness and we are sure to embrace that internally as well as externally in our beautiful location. At least 1-2 daily yoga classes will be offered. Morning practices will be more energizing vinyasa classes (but also accessible for all levels) and will help you get ready for each day. In the evening we will conclude with a gentle, restorative or yin practice to help you have a restful evening on your retreat. On evenings when we don’t have a second daily practice we will join together in meditation, discussion, reflection, and more.
Located on the pristine Mediterranean Amorgos Island, you can make this retreat as relaxing or adventurous as you like. When you’re not practicing yoga you can visit the beach, swim in the pool, hike on trails, take a stroll in the nearby village that is full of amazing Greek restaurants, shops, and more. There are also opportunities and time for optional off-property excursions. Either way, you are sure to have a great time and make lasting friends!

Devon Schmidt, ERYT- 500
It was in 2003 while enrolled at the CCAD, that Devon Schmidt first discovered her love for yoga. Through Hatha yoga classes at the YMCA in downtown Columbus, Ohio, she came to enjoy the physical and mental benefits of the asanas and noticed how wonderful she felt after class. It was while learning about yoga’s spiritual side that Devon was inspired to become a yoga teacher.
In 2010 Devon completed the World Peace Yoga 200hr Teacher Training Program in Springboro Ohio. In 2016 Devon also completed the 300hr Advanced Teacher Training Program at Yoga On High and is registered with Yoga Alliance as an ERYT-500. She has also completed the Shanti Mom Prenatal Yoga and Color Me Kids Trainings, as well as Yoga Therapy and Yoga Nidra Level I. Along the way she has been fortunate to study with David Swenson, Doug Keller, Richard Freeman, Rodney Yee, and many more inspiring teachers. She has also completed Ayurvedic and Thai Yoga Massage Trainings with Kelly Lewis and Annette Dennis respectively.
In 2011 Devon opened Day Yoga Studio in Dayton, Ohio to provide yoga and wellness services to the community. Along with teaching open yoga classes, she also facilitates workshops, conducts private individual yoga sessions, co-directs 200-hour and 500-hour RYS teacher training programs at Day Yoga, and offers Ayurvedic Massage and Reiki sessions. In 2014 Devon opened the second Day Yoga location in Vandalia, Ohio, and a third location in Beavercreek was opened in 2018.
Devon teaches many various yoga styles and loves to incorporate the more spiritual aspects of yoga into her classes, encouraging her students to delve into self-inquiry and staying present through pranayama. All the while, Devon still finds time for her other job: being a mom to four children.
Brandy Erazo, E-RYT 500
Brandy found yoga by accident! 12 years ago, she joined a friend for class and fell in love with the practice! A light came on that just continued to grow brighter every time she came to the mat. What began as solely a physical practice has blossomed into a deeper awareness of mind and spirit. She completed her 200hr TT in 2010 and followed up with her 500hr TT in 2011 both at The International Yoga Institute in Virginia Beach. She is registered with Yoga Alliance as an E-RYT 500. Her teaching style is inspired by ashtanga, power, and vinyasa yoga.
Since 2010 she has been leading a variety of public classes, workshops, and retreats. Being a military spouse has offered her the unique challenge of continual change; teaching throughout Virginia, Ohio, California, and Arizona.
Student first, teacher second: expect to be challenged mentally and physically in Brandy’s classes. She believes strongly in the power of “possibility;” we don’t know until we try! “Only by passing through resistance do we become stronger,” a quote by Sri Swami Satchidananda that she often shares and teaches from. Her classes offer a strong breath connection with powerful flows to tap into our internal strength!

We cannot emphasize more the importance of travel insurance. As we all know, especially as travelers, “life happens.” Whether it’s family, work, mother nature, or a change of heart, it is important to be prepared in case you need to unexpectedly change your travel plans. Often for less than $150, you can purchase a travel insurance policy and be protected in the event that you need to make a change or need to be covered financially prior to or during your trip.
We have partnered with two insurance companies: Trawick International and CSA Travel Insurance (available for U.S. Residents only). For Non-U.S. Residents this policy with Trawick insurance is available: Safe Travels Multi-National.
We encourage you to research the insurance company and policy that best meets your needs.
