Join Yoga Teacher, Shaman, and Spiritual Teacher Alyssa Snow in a weeklong exploration to deepen your connection to your highest self and open to love.
We are Spiritual Beings having a Human experience, yet we navigate the world as human beings having spiritual experiences every once and a while.
In this magnificent retreat on Lake Atitlán, we will learn how to shift that balance. Located in the homeland of the indigenous Maya, Lake Atitlán is a magical setting referred to as the belly button of the earth – the center of the universe where God’s seeds of mankind evolved.
Immersed in this vibration, you will experience kundalini yoga, hatha yoga, vinyasa yoga, shamanic drumming, and led sharing circles. In all of this, Alyssa will guide you to unravel the patterns that do not serve you so that you can open to the magic of the light within you.
Deepening your exploration, local shamanic healers will facilitate a sweat lodge to release old energy and a cacao ceremony to open the heart and invite in the new. In addition to plenty of time spent relaxing and being present in this spectacular retreat setting, we will also have a day of karma spent volunteering.

The retreat will be held at an intimate full-service lakefront hotel and yoga center on Lake Atitlan. All rooms have breathtaking views, natural decor, and outdoor spaces. The property has lush gardens, a full-service spa area with a hot tub and a sauna, a fair-trade boutique, a juice bar, and many places to hide away with a good book. Their cafe offers nourishing homemade vegetarian meals. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner buffets are abundant, and fish and chicken are available for an additional fee.
Every retreat is unique and, as such, the itineraries are ever-changing! We finalize the itineraries about 3-6 weeks before the retreat, but after 10 years of hosting retreats, we do have a general idea of what most schedules look like.
Most retreats include one-to-two daily yoga classes. One class takes place in the morning, either just before or just after breakfast. After the first class and meal, you have free time to explore, relax, or take part in optional add-on activities. Lunch (if included in your retreat) will take place midday, during this free time. There is then, usually, an afternoon class followed by dinner. Occasionally some teachers choose to offer an evening restorative class or group gathering after dinner as well.
In addition, there is usually one dedicated “excursion day” in which we do not have scheduled yoga classes. This is a day for people to take advantage of some of the more involved tour and excursion offerings and is always a lot of fun!
Again, this is a very general look at what your retreat schedule could be. We work closely with the teachers to design unique itineraries that reflect their style and the group that’s traveling with them. Once your specific retreat itinerary is complete, we will send it out via email, usually two or more weeks before the retreat starts. Please keep in mind all retreat itineraries are subject to change.
