“A yoga retreat is the ultimate vacation. Every aspect is amazing- from the beautiful destination and accommodations, the delicious meals prepared with intention and love, the amazing co-retreaters who will become lifelong friends, to the opportunity for solitude, community, and, of course, yoga and meditation!
Lisa and Rebecca are the perfect pair and strike a balance between powerful movement and chill yin practices. You will learn something new about yourself in your practice and retreating is a great way to accelerate your relaxation and renewal. I love attending yoga retreats because it gives me a place to truly disconnect from the demands of day to day life and find peace and fulfillment within myself. My goal is to attend a retreat annually and I will follow Lisa and Rebecca wherever they go!” ~Jenn

“It is a joy and an honor to teach on retreat. I get to see wonderful individuals shed their stress and other trappings of day-to-day life, and get to reconnect with themselves in a whole and healing way. As a teacher, I am able to observe the positive shifts that happen when people step away from their usual habits and patterns and gain a perspective that energizes them to live the life they really want to live! On retreat, this usually also involves a lot of beautiful scenery, delicious food, laughter and support form our community, and some “a-ha” moments. It’s a beautiful thing!” ~Lisa
Lisa Feder is a full-time yoga instructor and wellness consultant living in Austin, Texas. She has had a passion for all things wellness for as long as she can remember. While working for over 20 years in the corporate world as a strategic marketing specialist, she began teaching fitness classes in her free time. This led her to explore yoga, and she fell in love with the way it made her and her students feel—physically, emotionally, and energetically. After teaching part-time for many years, she took the leap and started Being Well Yoga, where she brings yoga on-site to companies to help employees learn how to live healthier, more balanced lives. She also teaches in studios, schools, senior centers, parks, and private homes. Her approach is balanced, and she likes to bring humor, challenge, and deep relaxation into her practices.
Lisa is especially interested in helping students find a yoga practice that really works for them, and she believes that yoga can provide more ease and comfort to all. She has seen the effects of a healthy lifestyle on her family as well and wants to share. Through classes, retreats, and workshops, Lisa loves helping people explore how to incorporate healthy habits into their daily lives in a fun and sustainable way. She is working on her first book, about bringing mindful habits into your daily life. Her favorite thing is hearing about the positive changes her participants make for themselves.
Lisa, RYT-500, E-RYT-200, incorporates many yoga traditions into her practices. She has certifications in Hatha, Hatha Flow, Kundalini, and I-rest Yoga Nidra. She has had the opportunity to study with Donna Farhi, Sean Corne, Sarah Powers, Anodea Judith, Beth Shaw, Amy Weintraub, Gary Kraftsow, and Richard Miller. She is currently working towards her iRest certification, so that she can help people more deeply tune in to their true nature and find peace, calm, and relaxation. All of her wonderful teachers have shared wisdom that informs her teaching, and she is grateful to them all.

“One of my favorite things about teaching is watching people arrive for practice in all states of fluster, disrepair, stress, and exhaustion… and then seeing them leave with soft shoulders, smiles, and starry eyes.
I love when someone tries to leave practice without their keys, purse, or shoes.
I love when someone relaxes enough to let a tear flow or to accidentally fall asleep in a deep twist.
I love when someone allows space to soften, release, and be.
Retreats allow for more than an hour of peace. Retreats allow you to soften enough that you remember yourself and release that which defines you and limits you.” ~Rebecca
Rebecca has been a full-time yoga teacher for more than a decade; her classes provide a safe, healing space well-suited for all levels of experience and ideal for those seeking comfort and ease in stillness. Rebecca encourages you to delve into self-awareness by exploring the deeper, hidden layers of the self that are in need of acknowledgment and processing. She keeps classes as simple and quiet as possible in order to allow students to decompress and release.
Rebecca, Certified Yoga Therapist and RYT-500, is extensively trained in both the Hatha and Kundalini traditions, specializing in Yoga Nidra, Yin, and Restorative. She has trained with a diverse range of teachers exposing her to an assortment of styles. Some of her most influential include Paul Grilley, Yin and Judith Lasater, Restorative. Erich Schiffmann is her soul teacher and reminds her of the importance of trusting her inner guidance, remembering that we all are connected, and accepting that intuition is the true source of wisdom.
Presently, Rebecca resides in Austin, TX, and spends her days teaching yoga and meditation, and creating one-of-a-kind malas. She teaches at several studios around town, offers private classes in her home studio or yours, and teaches corporate classes during the week.
“Not only is Rebecca a gifted teacher but she has a powerful healing presence. Her humble style belies the fact that she is an incredibly knowledgeable and well-trained yogini, and virtual mine of healing wisdom. If you have the great good fortune to attend a retreat with Rebecca, you will experience first hand the nurturing healing energy that surrounds her. She has a true gift for holding space with love and warmth. Her ability to hold this secure healing space during a retreat enables you to let go even more which will allow even greater healing and restoration of your body, mind, and spirit.” ~ Kim
“Lisa is the best Yoga instructor that I have ever had. She combines the spirituality with the physical in a meaningful way. Each yoga session is fresh. The most important thing I think is that she always emphasizes that it is your own practice and so you should listen to your own body and find your own edge. She is skilled in teaching groups with varied experience.” ~Janice F.
