Each day begins with guided meditation and rejuvenating yoga sessions, along with afternoon practices. Through Lana’s expert guidance in Iyengar based yoga, you’ll discover the profound benefits of proper structural alignment. Her approach creates strength, stability and space in the body.

Lisa’s diverse meditation offerings will guide you into deeper states of presence and peace. Experience the power of conscious breathwork, visualization and loving-kindness practices. We will also practice walking meditation amid Ireland’s ancient grounds. Yoga Nidra and self-reflective journaling sessions will be offered.

Between practices, you’ll have time to explore the natural beauty of the Valley, unwind in the resort’s luxurious four-star accommodations and the award-winning spa, or partake in optional adventure activities such as hiking, kayaking, or cycling. You can also take a taxi to explore the local town.

Lisa Sparagna

Lisa is passionate about creating a safe space where people can connect to the quiet of their inner wisdom. She has been practicing and teaching meditation, mindfulness, and yoga for over fifteen years. These practices guide her life: mindfulness keeps her present, meditation returns her to quiet and stillness, and yoga provides a flexible way to be in her life and our world. Sharing these tools with others gives her great joy.

Lisa’s professional yoga and meditation journey began in 2005 when she received her 200-hour certification at the White Lotus Foundation in California. Since then, she has earned an advanced 500-hour yoga certification and completed The Calm Monkey Mindfulness Facilitator Certification Program, The Sedona Women’s Institute Facilitator Training Program, and most recently, Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach’s Two Year Certified Mindfulness Meditation Program, MMTCP.

She has been trained in trauma sensitive yoga and mindfulness. She also holds an MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Lisa lives in the Chicago area with her husband and is a proud mother of three amazing adult children.

Lana Bassetto

With a deep passion for holistic well-being, Lana Bassetto is a dedicated yoga instructor committed to guiding individuals on a transformative journey. Armed with credentials in Education, (BA, MED) and in Fitness(AFFA, SCW, IDEA), Pilates Mat and Reformer, Barre (SCW), and yoga (E-RYT 500 from the Bhavana Institute of Yoga and Ayurvedic Studies, YCEP with Yoga Alliance) her mission is to create a nurturing space for students to explore the profound connection between Pranayama, Asana, and mindfulness.

Her teaching style is very much based on the teachings of BKS Iyengar, and is a harmonious blend of strength and serenity, inviting practitioners to delve into self-discovery and personal growth. Whether you are a novice or a seasoned yogi, Lana’s classes focus on cultivating physical strength, mental resilience, and emotional balance. She applauds the body’s amazing immune system and its arsenal of weapons in the form of asana and pranayama that keep us healthy with sustained practice.

Having witnessed the profound impact of yoga on her own life as a yoga instructor for the past 23 years and having experienced many avenues of teacher training but loving the Iyengar style the most, Lana is inspired to share these transformative practices with others. Through intentional sequencing, alignment cues, and a compassionate approach, she aims to empower each student to tap into their inner strength and embrace the present moment on and off the mat. Deeply dedicated to the art and science of yoga, Lana’s vision is that each sadhana may reveal his/her own river of peace and strength within.

Getting There

True Nature specializes in curating and offering the best retreat experiences. For your flights, we recommend that you use Google Flights or a trusted travel agency. 

You will be booking your flights for Shannon Airport (SNN). Before booking tickets, please be sure you have received your official confirmation note that the retreat has met its minimums. There will be one group airport shuttle each way based on our flight window guidelines. Be sure your flights align with the provided flight windows if you wish to use the group shuttle. The drive time to the center is approximately 2.5 hours.

Travel Insurance

We cannot emphasize more the importance of travel insurance. As we all know, especially as travelers, “life happens.” Whether it’s family, work, mother nature, or a change of heart, it is important to be prepared in case you need to unexpectedly change your travel plans. Often for less than $150, you can purchase a travel insurance policy and be protected in the event that you need to make a change or need to be covered financially prior to or during your trip.

To secure your tuition rate and reserve your spot, an initial non-refundable deposit is required: $350 for registrations more than 90 days before the trip, or $1,000 if booking 60–90 days prior. A non-refundable $35 payment processing fee will also be added to the tuition rate at registration.

If you select Deposit Payment, depending on when you registered, your remaining balance will be split into 1-3 payments and processed with your credit card on file on the dates indicated on your Confirmation Letter.

Cancellation

  • Initial deposits and the $35 registration fee are non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • 50% of payments are refundable up to 90 days before a retreat excluding the initial deposit and the $35 registration fee.
  • 89 days prior to a retreat, tuition is non-refundable and non-transferable.
  • Full tuition is refunded* if the trip is canceled due to low enrollment. The $35 registration fee is not refundable.
  • True Nature Travels is not responsible for any loss incurred due to currency conversion rates.

*Refundable amounts do not include applied credits.
