We are delighted to introduce you to two exceptional yoga instructors, Lisa Sparagna and Lana Bassetto. Together, Lisa and Lana bring a wealth of experience, passion, and expertise to our community, guiding individuals on transformative journeys toward holistic well-being.
Lisa Sparagna
Lisa’s journey into yoga and meditation began in 2005 when she received her 200-hour certification at the esteemed White Lotus Foundation in California. Since then, she has continued to deepen her practice and expand her knowledge, earning an advanced 500-hour yoga certification and completing various mindfulness facilitator programs, including The Calm Monkey Mindfulness Facilitator Certification Program and The Sedona Women’s Institute Facilitator Training Program. Most recently, Lisa completed Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach’s Two Year Certified Mindfulness Meditation Program, further enriching her understanding and expertise in guiding others toward inner peace and stillness.
With a background in trauma-sensitive yoga and mindfulness, as well as holding an MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Lisa brings a unique blend of compassion, creativity, and expertise to her teaching. She believes in the power of mindfulness to keep us present, meditation to return us to quiet and stillness, and yoga to provide flexibility in both body and mind. Sharing these tools with others brings her immense joy and fulfillment.
Lisa lives in the Chicago area with her husband and is a proud mother of three amazing adult children. When she’s not guiding others on their journey to inner peace, you can find her immersed in her own practice, exploring the profound connection between Pranayama, Asana, and mindfulness.
Lana Bassetto
Lana’s mission is to create a nurturing space where students can explore the profound connection between Pranayama, Asana, and mindfulness. Drawing inspiration from the teachings of BKS Iyengar, her classes offer a harmonious blend of strength and serenity, inviting practitioners of all levels to delve into self-discovery and personal growth.
With over 23 years of experience as a yoga instructor, Lana has witnessed the profound impact of yoga on her own life and is inspired to share these transformative practices with others. Through intentional sequencing, alignment cues, and a compassionate approach, she empowers each student to tap into their inner strength and embrace the present moment on and off the mat.
Deeply dedicated to the art and science of yoga, Lana’s vision is to guide each student toward their own river of peace and strength within. Whether you are a novice or a seasoned yogi, Lana’s classes focus on cultivating physical strength, mental resilience, and emotional balance, fostering a sense of peace, vitality, and authenticity.
Lana resides with her husband in Naperville, IL, and teaches at Seven Bridges Health and Fitness Center in Woodridge, IL, as well as offering yoga personal training throughout the city.
