Accommodations

Set in a secluded location, yoga and wellness center is an Andalusian paradise. It’s located in the countryside, surrounded by the silence of the mountain and with wonderful sea views. Each room at this center is unique and the size of the rooms vary.

A farm of 30,000 sq meters, it is located in the peace of the Spanish countryside, and yet is conveniently only 20 minutes from Malaga airport.

The family atmosphere, the delicacy of service, gardens, small corners and interior spaces make it an ideal venue for yoga, retreats or explore meditation, deepening silence and stillness space.

Located in Rincon de la Victoria, this beautiful venue is 7 kilometers from the beach and 20 kilometers from the center of the capital of the Costa del Sol, Malaga. It is nestled in a Malaga hill overlooking the Mediterranean Sea.

Mike Curtis

Mike Curtis (E-RYT500) has completed numerous yoga certifications. Mike is a reader, nature lover, yoga utilitarian, and musician. Mike has a doctorate in music and teaches at Malone University. Mike is on the board of Ohio Forest Sanctuaries and is one of the founding members. 

Mike has traveled to Europe, Africa, Asia, and S. America. Mike lived in Spain for a year and a half, in Turkey for 6 months, and in Ecuador for a year, where he was blessed with a Rotary graduate scholarship. He also is grateful to have studied music for a year in Uruguay with a Fulbright Scholarship.

Mike opened The Yoga Place in 1995 when it seemed like there were only a few people in Canton, Ohio, practicing yoga. In 2015, he opened a second location called Yoga Central for more yoga, and other spiritual practices, and to celebrate the arts. At the two yoga centers, we have over 30 teachers, 6 massage therapists, various health practitioners, and a variety of art exhibits, concerts, dances, theatre, and book clubs.

Kelly Senzarin-Kulik

Kelly began practicing yoga in the late 1990s at the original Yoga Place location. In 2019, she enrolled in a 200-hour yoga teacher training program and received her certification a year later. She is currently pursuing a 300-hour certification, which she will complete in October 2025. Throughout her yoga journey, Kelly has discovered more than she ever imagined, realizing that the yoga path is a continuous learning experience about both the practice and her inner self.

Kelly has a Bachelor of Science in Materials Science from Youngstown State University, where she received a YSU Foundation Scholarship. She was a metallurgical engineer for a steel manufacturer for over twenty years. Today, she teaches yoga and focuses on her family. 

Kelly enjoys spending time with her husband, son, family, and friends. She loves traveling, the sunshine, live music, spoiling her dogs, and learning new things. Kelly is grateful to be a part of The Yoga Place / Yoga Central community and values the studios, teachings, and yoga family.

Kelly has traveled to Europe for both business and pleasure, but this is her first time on a yoga retreat. She looks forward to the shared experience with the group.

While on retreat you will have the option to take part in activities and excursions. Some of the possible offerings include:

• Nature tours and hikes 
• Soak up the sun at one of the local beaches 
• Visit Malaga’s historic sites and museums
• Explore and shop in nearby cities
• Indulge in a relaxing and rejuvenating massage

You will book airfare to the Malaga Airport. Before booking tickets, please be sure you have received your official confirmation note that the retreat has met its minimums. There will be one group airport shuttle each way based on our flight window guidelines. Be sure your flights align with the provided flight windows if you wish to use the group shuttle. The drive time to the center is approximately 30 minutes.

Getting There

True Nature specializes in curating and offering the best retreat experiences. For your flights, we recommend that you use Google Flights or a trusted travel agency. 

Travel Insurance

We cannot emphasize more the importance of travel insurance. As we all know, especially as travelers, “life happens.” Whether it’s family, work, mother nature, or a change of heart, it is important to be prepared in case you need to unexpectedly change your travel plans. Often for less than $150, you can purchase a travel insurance policy and be protected in the event that you need to make a change or need to be covered financially prior to or during your trip.

Deposit & Payment Requirements

To secure your tuition rate and reserve your spot, a non-refundable and non-transferable deposit is required at the time of registration:

• $350 for registrations made more than 90 days before the trip.
• $1,000 for registrations made 60–90 days before the trip.
• Full payment is required for registrations made within 60 days of the retreat.

A non-refundable $50 payment processing fee will also be added to the tuition at registration.

If you select Deposit Payment, depending on when you registered, your remaining balance will be split into 1-3 payments and processed with your credit card on file on the dates indicated on your Confirmation Letter.

Cancellation

• Initial deposits and the $50 registration fee are non-refundable and non-transferable.
• 50% of payments are refundable up to 90 days before a retreat excluding the initial deposit and the $50 registration fee.
• 89 days prior to a retreat, tuition is non-refundable and non-transferable.
• Full tuition is refunded* if the trip is canceled due to low enrollment. The $50 registration fee is not refundable.
• True Nature Travels is not responsible for any loss incurred due to currency conversion rates.

*Refundable amounts do not include applied credits.
