An update from the True Nature group currently living the Pura Vida way in Costa Rica!
Everything was good this morning.
We changed the volunteer service (building beds for planting) and instead of this, help to make the furniture at Rolando’s taller. The other group we had this morning did easy work, but your group helped with the more productive and harder service. it was assisting Rolando with the furniture project for the local cafeteria
Rolando and the other three men used the electrical machines and the group helped us with the wood (storage, marking, etc).
The tour leader told us they really wanted to volunteer and it was a hard work, so they decided to join us.
After work, we had a time for fruits and drink coconut water, then we did trapiche and we had lunch.
They told me it was a great project and they enjoyed very much the fresh fruits and typical lunch.
The best part was to hear from them how much they appreciate the many uses we give to things and how we reuse everything (the tiny pieces of gavilan wood as a natural repellent, the small pieces of wood for cooking in the woodstove, same as the dry pieces of sugar cane after we get the juice.)
It is something natural to us and it feels good to give a good impression to others.
Nice people!!!
