It became her sanctuary, providing a sense of connection and peace that previously she only found in dance, but without the negativity that sometimes accompanied it. “Yoga truly saved my mental health and introduced me to a new way of living and loving myself,” Kelsey expresses with heartfelt gratitude.

Since 2009, Kelsey has been an advocate for health and well-being, intertwining her personal experiences with professional development. After receiving her RYT-200 from the Asheville Community Yoga Center, she continued her journey, accumulating over 3500 hours of teaching experience and gaining E-RYT status along with a level 1 certification in Trauma-Informed Yoga. She’s not only passionate about teaching but also steadfast in her personal growth – her trip to India in 2015 to delve into yoga’s ancestral roots and the international retreats she hosted in Peru and Greece are a testament to her lifelong commitment to learning and sharing.

Her background in Health & Wellness Promotion from the University of North Carolina at Asheville complements her practical expertise, making her classes a haven for personal transformation and growth.
