Kelly McElhaney
Kelly McElhaney is a yoga instructor, ICU RN, and wife of a surgeon. She moved with her husband and children to a rural town in Northern Pennsylvania after training and practicing in urban spaces for nearly 15 years. Kelly opened the Zen Den & Yoga Wellness Center by Rural Yoga Tribe after recognizing a lack of wellness activities in the area. The vast majority of her clients are employed by the local healthcare system: physicians, residents, nurses, and staff who are feeling overwhelmed and facing burnout. She seeks to bring attention to the needs of healthcare professionals- specifically mental health and general wellness practices to improve the quality of life for those who sacrifice so much to care for others, often to the detriment of their own well-being. Stay tuned for her new studio coming soon in Sayre, PA!
