In between, you’ll have time to explore Belize’s turquoise waters, snorkel among vibrant reefs, lounge in a hammock, or simply savor the rhythm of island life. Optional adventures include visiting ancient Mayan ruins, kayaking through mangroves, or indulging in a soothing massage overlooking the sea.

Your retreat includes nourishing local meals, daily Yoga and Pilates practices, and seamless travel with flights included to the island, so you can truly sink into ease from the moment you arrive. 6 nights accommodations
3 meals per day (excluding alcoholic beverages) starting with dinner on the first night and ending with breakfast on the last day
Group Ground Transportation to/from Belize City Philip Goldson International Airport (BZE) to Retreat Center. Also included is a 15-minute commuter flight and a 25-minute boat transfer to the center.

Samantha Stangarone is the founder of Pure Life Movement Studio, a yoga and wellness community based in New York. Known for her warm, down-to-earth teaching style, Samantha weaves together mindful movement, breathwork, and meditation to create practices that are both grounding and empowering.

She has led multiple international retreats, guiding students through transformational experiences that blend adventure, relaxation, and community. Her mission is to help people move beyond their comfort zones in safe, supportive ways—so they can carry the benefits of yoga off the mat and into every part of life.

The ultimate destination for ocean-lovers and those seeking a tranquil island escape. The private island setting provides immediate access to the Caribbean Sea for water-based activities and offers serene spaces for relaxation and connection with nature.

While on retreat you will have the option to take part in activities and excursions. Some of the possible offerings include:

Snorkeling and diving excursions to the Belize Barrier Reef (including the famous Blue Hole)
Fishing trips (fly-fishing, deep-sea fishing)
Island hopping and exploring nearby cays
Mainland excursions to explore Mayan ruins, jungle adventures, or local culture
Sailing or catamaran tours

Getting There

True Nature specializes in curating and offering the best retreat experiences. For your flights, we recommend that you use Google Flights or a trusted travel agency.

You will be flying into Philip S. W. Goldson International Airport (BZE) in Belize City. From BZE, you will take a short connecting flight (approximately 15-20 minutes) to Dangriga Airstrip (DGA). Upon arrival in Dangriga, there will be a boat transfer (approximately 25 minutes) directly to the center.

Boat transfers to the island operate at specific times and are highly dependent on flight arrivals to Dangriga. Before booking tickets, please be sure you have received your official confirmation note that the retreat has met its minimums.

Travel Insurance

We cannot emphasize more the importance of travel insurance. As we all know, especially as travelers, “life happens.” Whether it’s family, work, mother nature, or a change of heart, it is important to be prepared in case you need to unexpectedly change your travel plans. Often for less than $150, you can purchase a travel insurance policy and be protected in the event that you need to make a change or need to be covered financially prior to or during your trip.

Deposit & Payment Requirements

To secure your tuition rate and reserve your spot, a non-refundable and non-transferable deposit is required at the time of registration:

$350 for registrations made more than 90 days before the trip.
$1,000 for registrations made 60–90 days before the trip.
Full payment is required for registrations made within 60 days of the retreat.

A non-refundable $50 payment processing fee will also be added to the tuition at registration.

If you select Deposit Payment, depending on when you registered, your remaining balance will be split into 1-3 payments and processed with your credit card on file on the dates indicated on your Confirmation Letter.

Cancellation

Initial deposits and the $50 registration fee are non-refundable and non-transferable.
50% of payments are refundable up to 90 days before a retreat excluding the initial deposit and the $50 registration fee.
89 days prior to a retreat, tuition is non-refundable and non-transferable.
Full tuition is refunded* if the trip is canceled due to low enrollment. The $50 registration fee is not refundable.
True Nature Travels is not responsible for any loss incurred due to currency conversion rates.

*Refundable amounts do not include applied credits.
