Seeds of Intention: A Tilem (New Moon) Offering for Your Mind, Body & Spirit

Join me for a transformative week of yoga, reflection, connection, and renewal in the heart of Ubud, Bali. Surrounded by lush tropical landscapes and the peaceful energy of the island, we’ll gather together to slow down, reconnect, and create space for what we are ready to cultivate for the new moon and season.

Across many yoga traditions, the cycles of the moon have long been honored as a reminder of our own natural rhythms, a time to turn to inward reflection, and find balance between our effort and surrender. In Bali, the lunar cycle also holds deep cultural and spiritual significance, with Tilem (the New Moon) recognized as an important time for spiritual practice, purification, reflection, and setting intentions. Inspired by this shared reverence for the moon’s cycles, your retreat will offer an opportunity to honor the wisdom of slowing down and new beginnings.

Just as we plant seeds in the earth during the Fall season, we have the opportunity to plant seeds of intention within ourselves. Guided by the energy of Tilem, we will explore what we wish to release, what we wish to nurture, and what we are ready to cultivate in the next chapter of our journey.

Through our daily yoga practices, discoveries of a new place, and moments of stillness and rest, we will deepen our connection between our breath, body, spirit and the natural cycles of our environment. A yoga retreat is truly an invitation to listen and return to yourself, restore balance between “doing & being”, and return home with a lighter body and clearer mind.

Our time together will include opportunities to experience the beauty and culture of Bali, nourish ourselves with wholesome food, connect with nature, and share meaningful moments within a like-minded community. As we approach the New Moon on September 30, we will celebrate and honor its quiet and subtle power and honor the importance of each new beginning it offers us.

This retreat is an offering to yourself: a week to rest deeply, move intentionally, and reconnect with the wisdom already within you. Leave Bali feeling renewed, grounded, and inspired to continue the next chapter of your life’s journey.

Accommodations

The retreat will be held at a boutique hotel and yoga retreat oasis located five minutes outside of the village of Ubud, Bali in Indonesia. The center is dedicated to creating a place of happiness where groups or individuals can come to relax, adventure, deepen their practices, eat great food, play in the sun, and get back to being themselves.

Enjoy a chic yet unpretentious mix of modern and traditional Balinese design, nestled between a serene river on one side and ancient rice terraces on the other. All of the staff on their amazing team come from nearby villages and will make you feel welcome from the moment you arrive. The open-air yoga studio is on the third floor of the main villa with breathtaking views of rice terraces, traditional temples, coconut trees, and the jungle canopy. After yoga, cool off with a dip in the pool or enjoy a massage, facial, or full body treatment in their spa.

The fresh, organic food is a highlight for all of our guests. All the produce is organic and comes from the retreat center’s garden or the local market. A delicious blend of Balinese and Western cuisine is served in the open-air, bamboo roof dining area, crafted by amazing local chefs. Vegetarian, vegan, and non-vegetarian options are served alongside an amazing array of colorful juices, smoothies, beer, wine and tropical cocktails. Upgrade to Raw meals during the retreat for an additional charge. Juices and other specialty drinks are not included in the retreat package.

Travel Insurance

We cannot emphasize more the importance of travel insurance. As we all know, especially as travelers, “life happens.” Whether it’s family, work, mother nature, or a change of heart, it is important to be prepared in case you need to unexpectedly change your travel plans. Often for less than $150, you can purchase a travel insurance policy and be protected in the event that you need to make a change or need to be covered financially prior to or during your trip.

We have partnered with Trawick International (available for U.S. Residents only). Read more about their policies here. We encourage you to research the insurance company and policy that best meets your needs.
